Scarborough fair （斯卡布罗集市）
有年复活节假期，去Whitby惠特比玩，但有晚没有住宿，而附近的Scarborough（斯卡布罗)有宾馆空房，还是海边的，就去临时住了一晚。赶到时已是夜晚，第二天起来，才看到宾馆旁边有个cable car改建的咖啡店，和重庆从朝天门码头到上半城的的缆车差不多，和公交车箱一样大小，感觉亲切。这个缆车是从崖脚的沙滩上行到街市的。带孩子专门去喝了杯咖啡，找了个临窗的坐位，视野开阔，阳光无遮无栏暖洋洋的洒进来，看来邻桌的老两口也是来享受阳光的。
那时候还不知道这首歌是和这个地方有关，只是觉得Scarborough有点特别，街道虽然有上下坡度，但很整洁，海滩也不错，像是个旅游景点。后来才知道这首在《毕业生》那个电影里的歌曲，唱得就是英格兰的这个斯卡布罗集市。倘若早知，我大概就不会在缆车里喝那么久的阳光咖啡了，而该是听着歌去找那个集市了（近在咫尺，应该过两三个街区就是）。
这首斯卡布罗集市就是斯卡布罗对歌，算是广西刘三姐对歌的英格兰版，男女都想找对方处对象，又相互抬杠，提出山无陵，天地合，海枯石烂的条件，乃敢与君结 绝/ / 。语言文字可以不同，但人文情感总有点似曾相识。
