Xuewu Daniel Dai is a senior lecturer of electrial engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Environment, Northumbria University. His research interests includes robust state estimation, synchronisation of multi-agent systems, networked control and scheduling co-design, and their applications to packet-exchange time synchronisation, time-sensitive Industrial Internet of Things and intelligent transport-energy systems.
He leads the Networked Control and Scheduling lab, which develops GPS-free precise (sub micro-second) time synchronizaiton systems, networked control of autonomous guided vehicles, intelligent scheduling and smart charging of electric vehicicles, and mobile sensor and actuator networks.
